Born and raised in a small mountain town in Austria, my only goal since being a small girl was to be a healer. At that time the only translation of that wish was to be a nurse. I did just that and then went on to work in intensive care in a big University hospital in Switzerland. It became abundantly clear to me that this was not the kind of healing my heart was craving. That started a lifelong search for what healing really means and how it can be translated for the client. These studies have taken me all over the world - sometimes studying with famous teachers, other times with teachers that stay in the background unknown to the masses. These journeys have given me the opportunity to work with hundreds of people on issues as simple as improving a certain aspect in their professional or personal lives or as complex as reaching to the deepest despair of the soul. My studies have taken me from understanding the mind to knowing the healings of the body. The process of healing has taken me from traditional psychotherapy, to deep inner space sourcing, and finally to hypnotherapy which enables me to use everything I have learned to find what the client needs at the moment of our session. Adding to my western understanding of medicine, I have been studying classical Chinese healing through medical qigong, along with achieving a doctorate of divinity and being ordained as a Daoist minister. It is the conclusion of this journey that matters to my client. I give them 100% of my knowledge, and passion, if they give me 100% of their effort, in understanding that only working as a team will change happen. I usually don’t see my clients for long-term therapy, but instead for empowerment and for finding the insights to understanding that every life holds a beautiful mystery just waiting to be discovered. I believe in being a partner to my client for a short time on that path, sometimes just pointing out another pathway, other times holding the hand and guiding them along a scary patch. My clients, males and females of all ages, see me for issues of health (changing their lifestyles such as becoming non-smokers, loosing weight etc.), anxiety or fears, sadness and depression, having lost their vision of where they want to go or who they are (i.e. enhancing their performance in school, job or sports.) I have two secret passions – one is working with kids (to deal with ADD, ADHD and other challenges they face in our society today) and the other working with cancer and AIDS clients. My mission is always to create a safe and supportive space for my clients, to Combine my extensive knowledge of hypnotherapy and traditional medical qigong healing, to strive to shine light unto their understanding of the unique value of their life, and to provide them with the tools and guidance they need to find inner strength, happiness, passion and healing in their lives.
